Notes:

• 7/100 children died in reported but unwitnessed falls of less than four feet. 0/65 children died in falls of 5-9 feet. 1/118 children died in falls of 10-45 feet.
• Five of the seven cases of fatal short falls had associated injuries that suggested child abuse.
