No time to preview media?

The first year I teach a unit, I view most of the suggested films along with the students. Both the students and I take notes, then we compare and evaluate the films according to criteria the students develop. For example: Was the vocabulary too difficult? Was the content well-organized? Which parts of the film best support what we're learning in this unit? In this way, I learn which films are truly excellent and appropriate. I do not show any of the others in future years.
