Dictation Sentences from Children's Literature

A user who appreciated my Dictation Sentences from the Bible asked if I might be able to provide dictation sentences from classic children's literature as well. I said it wouldn't be hard to do if I had electronic text. She responded by providing me with links to the following sites, which contain lots of classic literature. I hope to get sentences from other children's literature up on this site in the future. If you want them, call or e-mail to encourage me!

Main Lesson: http://www.mainlesson.com/showbooksbytitle.php
Online Library: http://www.ipl.org/div/subject/browse/hum60.60.00/
Project Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org

These sentences contain words the children working at that level should be able to spell. Sometimes words are included that aren't on the lists, but are regularly spelled according to rules they should have learned by the time they get to the list. Pronouns are sometimes used in place of proper nouns to make the sentence easier to spell.

From Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you can dictate paragraphs, quotations, and running dialog, all with words your children should know.
