Possible Procedures

• Draw two objects that are the same (maybe two circles). Say Same.
• Draw two objects that are different (a circle and a square). Say Different.
• Continue until the child can produce the correct response.
• Reinforce with other objects, sounds, etc. Child says same or different.
• You may wish to begin using the Pronunciation Diagnostic Test at this time to check for sounds the student has trouble discriminating.
• Pronunciation lessons can be used for 5 minutes or so each day at the start of a session.
